Since 1984
In 1984 Ideal Fabricators was founded by Patrick Purdom. Ideal served the machine tool industry throughout Michigan.
In 1998 plant size and crane capacity were doubled to build larger fabrications and expand our customer base outside of Michigan.
In 2003 Ideal Fabricators partnered with Statewide Boring & Machine to offer complete fabricated and machined parts throughout North America.
In 2011 Statewide Boring & Machine more than doubled the plant size to add new CNC equipment.
In 2022 Ideal Fabricators and Statewide Boring became 100% employee-owned.
